May we wish everyone a very happy Christmas, and a wonderful New Year. Our Christmas Day service of Holy Communion is at 10am. To welcome you to our church, we will be offering mince-pies and warming sherry or port -in real glasses! We look forward to seeing you.

Our carol service will once again be a bit of an adventure, with the story of the Nativity being brought to life in various ways, including sound and light, the taste of middle-east foods, and the smell of spices, herbs and incense used in those ancient times. Our Harvest Festival service was a bit later than usual this year, which meant that there were fewer vegetables available for the auction afterwards in the village hall. We had about 25 people at the service (sadly, also rather fewer than in previous years), but we were joined for the supper and auction by others who had not been at the service - which was very good news, and meant that we had a f ..

A big thank you to everyone who has helped to clear up the churchyard this year. A special thank-you to John Woolacott who cut the "wilding-area" of long grass. It made such a difference on the clear-up day on the 5th October, when a hardcore-team of eight people spent the morning raking grass, trimming hedges and tidying around the church itself.
