The Big Breakfast Success

Glenys Green and Jill Cronk laid on such a great breakfast on the 2nd November! Vote in our poll.

Glenys Green and Jill Cronk laid on such a great breakfast on the 2nd November! They had a few little helpers of course, but the event was their idea and it was a terriffic success. 70 breakfasts were served by the team of cooks and waiters, and the kitchen was thick with the smells (and fumes) of bacon, eggs , hash-brown etc. Gordon Ramsay's kitchen had nothing on the scenes that day, as orders were flowing in and the head-chef's orders were also flying around!!

A big thank you to Dave and Geri Ashton who donated all the eggs for the day - people commented on how delicious they were and how deep-orange the yolks were. They must have very happy birds!

Thank you to all who supported the breakfast. It raised £365 for the Church bell restoration fund, for which the PCC are extremely grateful.

We think this was the perfect breakfast - nevertheless as part of the Village Hall big breakfast improvement program we'd welcome your feedback so please vote in the poll below!
