Please find below the Notice of Election for the District Elections and Notice of Election for the Parish (Parish Wards) Elections.
Both Notices are to be displayed from Friday 17th March 2023. Please display notices for the maximum attention within your Parish.

Please ensure you print the pack in its entirety.
If you have already requested paper copies for your Parish, these have now been sent out to you by post.
Parish Clerks may give the Nomination Packs to any potential candidate or existing Parish Councillors who may wish to stand. Nomination papers are also available from the Elections Office at the address below.
Nominations can be handed in from Monday 20th March 2023 up until Tuesday 4th April 2023. The earlier the better, as it helps our elections office run smoothly.
Please note the Nomination Papers are required to be delivered by hand. This does not have to be the Candidate themselves but by someone they trust as when it is delivered we will be making an informal check and that person may be asked if they have authorisation to make the amendments on the Candidates behalf.

Key deadlines
- Deadline to register to vote: midnight Monday 17 April 2023
- Deadline to apply to vote by post: 5pm Tuesday 18 April 2023
- Deadline to apply to vote by proxy: 5pm Tuesday 25 April 2023
- Deadline to apply for a voter authority certificate: 5pm Tuesday 25 April 2023
From 4 May 2023, voters in England will need to show photo ID to vote at polling stations
